How We Started

1991 - Started As An Apprentice
I started in the canvas industry as an apprentice in 1991 in Toowoomba and after 4 years I qualified as a canvas goods maker. I continued to work in Toowoomba for several years before relocating to Chinchilla and worked with an upholsterer.

2000 - Worked As A Supervisor
In 2000 I moved to Brisbane where I worked as a supervisor on the floor of a canvas company that specialised in boat covers, tents and awnings. From here I transferred to work in the camper trailer industry. It was here that I gained my knowledge and skills in camper trailer manufacture, production and sales.

2007 - My Wife And I Started Ozki Canvas
In July 2007 my wife joined me in the canvas industry and we started Ozki Canvas.

2008 - Specialised Textiles Association Member
Ozki Canvas is a member of the Specialised Textiles Association.
